Consultancy
services
Drawing on the
ANNIE project, providing;
- methods for
providing learning activities involving remote access to experts,
and
- expertise
and techniques to ensure their success.
We can provide:
Workshops
Generic workshops
that introduce staff to the range of solutions on offer, and provide
them with a chance to participate in and evaluate a learning activity
through videoconferencing and or online chat.
Or, in liaison
with an institution's IT or AV services, tailor-made workshops on
how to carry these out using your own institution's facilities.
Written guidelines
There are our
generic guidelines, which are based on a wide range of activities
in different institutions. However, by investigating your own institution's
resources and technologies, we can create a range of "how to"
cards for specific activities at your institution.
One-to-one consultations
with academic staff
You tell us
what your goals, barriers and resources are: we'll identify appropriate
learning activities and technology platforms to achieve them. We
can also assist you in putting the activities together, conducting
them, and evaluating them.
School-wide or institution-wide
reviews
We can help
you formulate strategies to promote and integrate remote access
to expertise across a single school or an institution. By building
on our experience of working with the needs of different subject
disciplines and the resources of different institutions, we can
identify opportunities for developing remote access to experts for
your institution.
