Overview

A 6 CAT List A module consisting of a study of the mathematical techniques of variational methods, with applications to problems in physics and geometry. Fuller descriptions can be found in Plan Your Degree Course (PYDC).

Prerequisites: MA131 Analysis (MA225 Differentiation is also helpful) and a module on Differential Equations (e.g. MA113)
