The Advanced Technology Centre is an R&D centre for the Warwick Manufacturing Group, and has its own purpose-built premises on the University of Warwick campus.

The ATC is dedicated to technological and operational innovation, working with companies to take new ideas from concept to successful exploitation. The leading company in the ATC is Rover Group, which was the founding partner in 1985. Today, the research projects involve companies from many different industrial sectors and typically over 40 are represented at any one time.

The concept of the ATC has been to create a flexible environment where company staff and University staff can work together and share facilities. Pooling skills and resources achieves more than working alone.
