About CEI

The Centre for Education and Industry was founded in 1987 and is located on the Westwood Campus at the University of Warwick (www.warwick.ac.uk) on the south side of Coventry. The University is one of Britain's leading universities. It is research led and is committed to providing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of the highest quality. Currently it has over 25000 graduate and postgraduate students and 4000 staff. Coventry is approximately 100 miles from London and is well served by good air, rail and road networks.

The CEI Director, Professor Prue Huddleston, leads a team of 20 operational, research and support staff. This includes six CEI Regional Directors who operate from bases across the country, providing good working links with local, regional and national and international partners. Also based at CEI is the Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest Financial Capability Centre( www.rbsf2f.com and www.natwestf2f.com) . This is a centre of excellence for research and development in financial capability and finance education.
