I am hoping that the detailed information on the lengths of job spells and job to job transitions which CCLS and SITO possess will allow estimation of a job tenure model with competing risks. I hope the results will shed light on the quality of worker-employer matches.

Especially, I am interested in the wage comparison of employee-owned firms and manager-owned firms and outside-owned firms. Many researchers showed that the two latters are superior to the former in all aspects. But, I think that there will be some problems in their argument. They don't consider more consciously the specificity of the employee-owned firms. I want to know the reality of it. I can handle various econometric method and tools. With consideration of sample selection bias and endogenity, I will test the hypothesis that outsider-owned firm is more productive than employee-owned firm.
