Return to the Table of Contents Administrative/Biographical HistoryThis collection forms part of the Trades Union Congress Archive (MSS.292) and is the last of four principal deposits by the TUC. It was deposited with the Modern Records Centre in August 1998, when the TUC changed its access policy from closure for thirty years to closure for ten years. The records have been kept in registry order and retain its decimal classification system. The registry system breaks down as follows :
The prefixes MSS.292B, 292C and 292D are necessary to distinguish between the TUC deposits covering 1920-1960, 1960-1970, 1920-1960 (supplemental) and 1970-1990.
