Messenger papers (MSS.328/N17) contain twenty two files of minutes, accounts, a membership list, correspondence, extracts from cycling magazines, details of races, etc., of the British League of Racing Cyclists, 1939-1959, and 1972-1994, including contacts with other cycling associations. The papers of the National Cyclists' Union and the British Cycling Federation are also held at the Centre (MSS.328/BU and MSS.328/BCF).
